Program implementation will need to include final <strong>program</strong> design, start-up of operations,<br />

marketing and outreach, retailer relationship management, incentive/rebate processing,<br />

customer service center and <strong>program</strong> management and reporting.<br />

Specific tasks include:<br />

Implementation<br />

& Delivery<br />

Market analysis of industry trends, procedures and partnerships.<br />

Retailer and manufacturer recruitment and selection. Recruitment should include RFP<br />

development and distribution and MOUs.<br />

Continued retailer and manufacturer outreach and support to tailor special promotions, and<br />

exchange information for enhanced in-store delivery.<br />

Consumer marketing through the Energy Smart website and in-store collateral.<br />

Field Services to verify products, promotional messaging, train retailers, staff events and<br />

ensure efforts are following proper protocols.<br />

<strong>Inc</strong>entive and rebate processing which includes data collection and reporting to track and<br />

verify retailer point of sale data, and participant data to approve and generate incentive and<br />

rebate fulfillment to partners and/or customers.<br />

Employ quality control process for data collection, invoicing, incentive/rebate fulfillment and<br />

field visit efforts.<br />

Delivery of report monthly, quarterly and annually on progress to data for all <strong>plan</strong>ning and<br />

implementation activities.<br />

Marketing<br />

The Consumer Products Program’s consumer marketing efforts will include developing and<br />

implementing. Marketing efforts will highlight the Company and product benefits and features<br />

to increase consumer awareness and acceptance of energy-efficient products.<br />

Marketing efforts may include:<br />

Providing point-of-purchase advertising and marketing materials in retail stores<br />

Facilitating in store consumer and retail sales associate events to educate on the consumer<br />

products <strong>program</strong>.<br />

Communicating and providing access to <strong>program</strong> information and participating retailers on the<br />

Energy Smart website.<br />

Advertising special promotions using online, other mass media channels and in-store<br />

advertising.<br />

Branding marketing material with the ENERGY STAR® and ENTERGY logos.<br />

Developing, publishing and distributing a <strong>program</strong> brochure(s).<br />

In general, <strong>program</strong> marketing delivery strategies and tactics are subject to change pending the<br />

final implementation <strong>plan</strong>, which will be developed by the Company in conjunction with the<br />

selected implementation contractor.<br />
