Chart 9 provides greater detail for residential space cooling end-use. 19% of the residential sector does
not have AC and relies on gas for heating, in addition to another 35% of residents who do have AC and
also use gas to heat their homes. The remaining 46% use electric as their heating/cooling fuel type.
