Materials<br />

grid paper (p. 1)<br />

Students will graph data based on the number<br />

of students enrolled in elementary and<br />

secondary schools in the United States for given<br />

years. They then use the graph to make<br />

predictions about the number of students in<br />

future years. Students will carry out similar<br />

procedures using data based on the number of<br />

students per computer in U.S. schools for given<br />

years.<br />
