Objective Graph real-world data as functions
to predict future outcomes.
Materials
grid paper (p. 1)
Students will graph data based on the number
of students enrolled in elementary and
secondary schools in the United States for given
years. They then use the graph to make
predictions about the number of students in
future years. Students will carry out similar
procedures using data based on the number of
students per computer in U.S. schools for given
years.
