A highly professional team is <strong>Gazprom</strong>’s vital competitive edge. The <strong>Gazprom</strong> Group stands<br />
out for its commitment to the continuous evolution of employee incentive schemes and<br />
ongoing training programmes, as well as for its sound social policy.<br />
<strong>Gazprom</strong> Group complies with the fundamental rights and principles set forth in the International<br />
Labour Organisation conventions, such as:<br />
— freedom of association and effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;<br />
— elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labour;<br />
— effective abolition of child labour; and<br />
— elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.<br />
<strong>Gazprom</strong> adheres to international standards on wages, hours and conditions of work, remuneration<br />
for work, social security, holidays with pay, occupational safety, etc.<br />
In 2014, regulation of all social and labour relations within <strong>Gazprom</strong> Group was performed<br />
in accordance with the labour laws, the General Agreement between the National Associations of<br />
Trade Unions and Employers and the Russian Government, the Industry Agreement for Oil, Gas<br />
and Construction Companies, collective agreements, and local legal acts of Gazpom Group’s<br />
companies.<br />
HR management framework<br />
The Human Resources Management Policy of OAO <strong>Gazprom</strong>, its Subsidiaries and Entities is the<br />
primary document governing the Company’s personnel management.<br />
The Policy treats employees as one of the Company’s key strategic assets supporting its<br />
competitive edge and facilitating the successful achievement of its goals.<br />
The Comprehensive Programme for Implementation of Human Resources Management<br />
Policy of OAO <strong>Gazprom</strong>, its Subsidiaries and Entities for 2011–2015 is aimed at further improving<br />
HR management practices. The Programme’s goal is to set key priorities in developing human<br />
resources and implement initiatives to build a competitive, highly professional, responsible and<br />
close-knit team capable of delivering the Company’s objectives in an efficient way.<br />
