at contract execution stage, and when issued permits to perform their tasks (permits-to-work,<br />
operations certificates).<br />
<strong>Gazprom</strong> neft Group benefits from an integrated management system compliant with<br />
OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 international standards and covering both environmental<br />
security and occupational and health safety. <strong>Gazprom</strong> neft Group’s operations are aligned with<br />
the corporate Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy and coordinated at the Corporate<br />
Centre level by the Occupational Safety Department. <strong>Gazprom</strong> neft Group also has a Health,<br />
Safety and Environment Protection Board in place.<br />
At <strong>Gazprom</strong> energoholding, occupational health and safety issues are addressed in line with<br />
the requirements of Russian laws and applicable statutory regulations. CEOs of generating companies<br />
are responsible for compliance with these requirements, while relevant activities are coordinated<br />
by Chief Engineers of subsidiaries and branches (power plants).<br />
OAO <strong>Gazprom</strong>’s unified goals, operating principles and commitments are also generally<br />
reflected in <strong>Gazprom</strong> neftekhim Salavat’s existing OHS Policy. They are implemented by the company<br />
in line with the requirements of federal, regional and industry-related laws and international<br />
standards. During the reporting period, the company deployed and enhanced its Occupational<br />
Health and Safety Management System based on OHSAS 18001:2007.<br />
