Sixth Method:The external insemination takes place in the test-containerbetween sperm and ovum of the couple then, the zygote isplanted in the uterus of a woman who volunteers to bear it.This method is resorted to, when the wife is unable toconceive pregnancy for some reason in her uterus, however, herovary is perfect and productive, or she is not willing to bepregnant due to her comfort in life, hence, another womanvolunteers to be pregnant on her behalf.Seventh Method:It is similar to the sixth method, however, the woman whovolunteers to be pregnant, is the second wife of the husband whoowns the sperm and her co-wife volunteers to bear the zygote onher behalf.This method is not prevalent in the foreign countries whoselaws do not allow polygamy, but in those countries wherepolygamy is allowed.These are the methods of artificial insemination, which hasbeen achieved by modern science to treat the causes of failure inpregnancy.The Islamic Fiqh Council has looked into the utilization ofthese advancements for various purposes – These are alreadybeing applied in Europe and the United States – which have beenmuch publicized in the print and electronic media. Some of thesepurposes are commercial, others take place under the heading ofimproving the human kind; some other takes place to respond tothe desire of motherhood among unmarried women or amongthose women who are married but cannot conceive due to somereason in them or in their husbands.
