They also described anything that is contrary to the communist ideology such aspreservation of high traditional values including the Islamicteachings as reactionary, backwardness, opportunism, etc.In the area of ethics, they called for permissive culture thatallows the free mixing between males and females and describedit as freedom and advancement because they knew well thatwhenever they were able to eliminate the religion and its ethicalvalues, they would be successful in having their intellectual,material and political control. If this happens, they will have fullcontrol over all means of reform and change, and do whateverthey want.This naturally resulted in an intellectual, ideological andpolitical conflict in which they helped their supporters withmoney, arms and propaganda machinery to strengthen them inthe society to take over power. After that don’t ask what wouldhappen there. Any thing such as killing, eviction, suppression offreedom and imprisonment of religious and righteous personsmay take place.That is why when the communist onslaught raged theMuslim countries they did not consolidate themselves with theirreligious and ethical values in the face of this onslaught. TheIslamic Fiqh Council within the framework of its religious andacademic authority had to warn about the danger of thisintellectual, ideological and political onslaught which was beingraged through media and military means.The Islamic Fiqh Council during its session held in MakkahMukarramah issued the following resolution:32
