In our age when morecomplicated and challenging issues have emerged in the Muslimsocieties as a result of the scientific and cultural advancement,which the humanity never experienced in the past, AlmightyAllah has blessed us with the establishment of Fiqh councils andShari’ah boards so that they become the means of collectiveIjtehad and our religion remains secure from any contradictionand confusion.They have in fact become source of authority and are beingconsulted in the complex and pressing issues and problems,21
