“O you who believe If you will aid (the cause of) Allah, Hewill aid you, and plant your feet firmly.” (Qur’an, 47:7)“…Allah will certainly aid those who aid His (cause) forverily Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might, (Able toenforce His Will). They are those who, if We establish them in theland, establish regular prayer and give regular charity, enjointhe right and forbid the wrong. With Allah rests the end (anddecision) of (all) affairs.” (Qur’an, 22:40-41)“… but if as is sure, there come to you guidance from Me,whosoever follows My guidance, will not lose his way, nor fallinto misery. But whosoever turns away from My Message, verilyfor him is a life narrowed down, and We shall raise Him up blindon the Day of Judgement. He will say: “O my Lord! Why haveyou raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)?” (Allah) willsay: “when Our Signs came unto you, you disregard them, so thisday you will be disregarded.” (Qur’an, 20: 123-126)It is quite obvious that the difference between Shari’ah (law)of Almighty Allah and the man-made laws is like a differencebetween Allah the Creator and His creature. A system that wasmade by the human being cannot be equal to Shari’ah, which wassent down by Allah, the King of the kings and the Most Mercifulto His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) so that itremains as a guidance and mercy for all the worlds.The Islamic Fiqh Council, which is holding its session invicinity of the Holy Ka’bah, Makkah Mukarramah, is appealingto you in the name of Allah, Lord of power (and rule), who givespower to whom He pleases, and He strips off power from whomHe pleases, He endures with honour whom He pleases, and Hebrings low whom He pleases, In His hand is all good. Verily overall things, He has power - that you take initiative for theapplication of Shari’ah of Allah so that you and your people68
