The Fourth ResolutionOn Bahai Sect and Associating with ItAll Praise be to Almighty Allah.Blessing and peace be on His Prophet Muhammadafter whom there is no prophet, and on all thosewho followed his way of guidance.The Islamic Fiqh Council during its 1 st session held inMakkah Mukarramah, Saudi Arabia between 10-17 Sha’ban1398H examined the issue of the Bahai sect, which appeared inIran in the second half of the 19 th century and has a number offollowers who are scattered today in many Muslim and non-Muslim countries.The Council studied the writings of many scholars, authorsand those who are well acquainted with the reality of this sect aswell as its emergence, mission, literature, life of its founderMirza Hussein Ali Mazindrani (born on 20 Muharram 1233H /12 November 1817) and behaviour of his followers.
