A wide rangeof modern and sophisticated equipmentis housed in the Polymer CharacterisationCentre, Polymer Chemistry Laboratory,Polymer Processing Laboratory, MaterialsScience Laboratory and the AdvancedMaterials Technology Centre. Besides offeringboth local and overseas industrial attachmentopportunities, we have many interesting andchallenging industry-based Final Year Projectspresenting real working or research experiencefor our students.Career Opportunities andFurther EducationDMLS graduates are uniquely qualified for awide range of positions within the chemicalindustry which includes petrochemicals, resinproduction, plastics fabrication & tooling,formulation & compounding, coatings &adhesives, biomedical and electronicscompanies. They may work in materials orprocess development, quality assurance,materials characterisation & analysis,production, teaching, technical sales,purchasing, customer service and othermanagement-related positions, or even strikeout on their own paths as entrepreneurs.DMLS graduates are expected to be widelyrecognised by local and foreign universities.Graduates will be granted subject exemptionsor direct entry into the second or third year ofdegree programmes.
