An example of theimmersive experience a student undergoes isthe management of the SP EntrepreneurshipLiving Lab (SPELL) at the Changi Airport,Terminal 3, which is a state-of-the-art retailoutlet powered by Motorola Solutions.Flexibility and choices are the other keyfeatures of the course to cater to the dynamicneeds of the DBA students. Students aregrounded in key competencies of businessand hone their competitive edge throughspecialised training in key businessfunctions/industry sectors. In Year 3, studentscan select any 2 out of 7 options groupedinto Business Function, Industry Sector,and Student Directed Programme. Studentswho have excelled in the course can optfor additional advanced modules to stretchtheir potentials. The Options available tostudent are:BusinessFunctionMarketingManagementFinance andAccountingInternationalBusiness andTradeIndustrySectorRetailManagementLogistics &Supply ChainManagementStudent-DirectedProgrammeEntrepreneurshipOverseasImmersionProgrammeIn the Third Year of the course, students canchoose to study a combination of two optionsover two semesters. They can also studyone option in Semester 1 and proceed for anOverseas Immersion Programme in Semester 2.Students who have performed well can opt totake up to two Advanced Modules from Year2 onwards. These modules are designed toadd greater depth of knowledge in key areasuseful for students who will pursue universitystudies in future.
