DIPLOMA IN CLEAN ENERGY (DCEG)DIPLOMA INClean Energy (DCEG)The Diploma in Clean Energy aims to trainstudents to become competent technologiststo meet the anticipated manpower needs of theincreasingly important clean energy market.The course aims to equip students with solidtechnical knowledge and good practical skills,encompassing a broad scope of engineeringtechnologies. These range from Photovoltaic(PV) manufacturing and process to thegeneration and utilization of clean energyeither as a stand-alone system or integratedwith the electrical power network. Thecourse will cover energy sources from solarphotovoltaic, wind, biomass and fuel cells.Such sources of clean energy are viable inSingapore and regional countries.The new curriculum will provide a moreflexible and ability-driven course thatprovides the means of challenging studentswho are more capable towards universityeducation in Engineering.
