Chapter 1 – General InformationSection 1.15 New County RoadsThis warranty shall be secured in an amount and with a form of collateral acceptable tothe County Attorney.This warranty collateral shall be submitted concurrently with a request for release of thesubdivision improvements collateral and the two-year warranty period shall commenceon the date of said release of collateral. This warranty collateral will be held two years byLarimer County and will cover all improvements associated with the development.Other types of improvements may combine their warranty collateral with the roadwarranty collateral if approved by the County Attorney.During the course of the warranty period, periodic inspections will be conducted by theEngineer or their representative. If deficiencies are observed, other than normaldeterioration, they shall be brought to the attention of the developer for his action.The procedure for release of the warranty collateral shall be as established by theCounty Planning Department.Larimer County Rural Area Road Standards Page 1-6October 22, 2007
