GERMAR RUDOLF, RESISTANCE IS OBLIGATORYthe blatant contradictions, but nevertheless an approach which shouldnot be spared in future presentations. But as a critique of accountson a {p. 26} single event, this contribution by all means still belongsinto the range of such “revisions” which can also be found in the establishedliterature.The contribution by Werner Rademacher on the “Case of WalterLüftl” is closest to being a mixed composition. To the extent that it refersto the topic itself, it states undeniable facts which in the meantimehave also been confirmed by courts: that a fire expert may claim thatflames shooting out of crematory chimneys as attested to by many witnessescannot exist as a result of the laws of the natural sciences, thatthey therefore must be fantasies. But vis-à-vis this expert, namely theformer president of the association of Austrian civil engineers WalterLüftl himself, not only experts may comment on conclusions whichcannot be deduced from the question of detail about the reality or irrealityof flames.This leaves us with the two most well-known authors: Germar Rudolfand Robert Faurisson. Several years ago and in the context of atrial against a publisher indicted for revisionist propaganda, GermarRudolf, a PhD student of chemistry and employee at a Max Planck Institute,presented an expert report on cyanide traces in the gas chambersof Auschwitz which followed the trail of the so-called Leuchter Reportbut was obviously much more detailed and exact. Excerpts of this expertreport were published, apparently without the author’s consent, in aperiodical justly qualified as propagandistic, resulting in a criminal investigationagainst Rudolf. Meanwhile he has extended his expert report,made it more precise, and has sent it to numerous addressees, sothat his {p. 27} name, together with Leuchter’s, has frequently beenclassified among the “Auschwitz deniers” in public. This qualificationwas justified insofar as Rudolf, just like Leuchter, has too quickly deduceda too far-reaching conclusion from verifiable and, taken as such,exact results. It is of course legitimate to conduct comparative studies ofcyanide residues in walls of disinfestation chambers on the one handand on the other hand of rooms which have been identified as homicidalgas chambers and which have originally been planned as morgue basements.23277
