GERMAR RUDOLF, RESISTANCE IS OBLIGATORYThis normal procedure of scientific clarification of unclear issuesand disputed opinions is prevented in the FRG by means of the penallaw, namely as alleged “disparagement of the dead” or as “inciting themasses” with fines and imprisonments against revisionist scientists andtheir publishers, whereby the respective publications are seized and destroyed.Apart from the total number of victims caused by Hitler’s tyranny, itis in particular the existence of gas chambers in the so-called exterminationcamps which is a central point of contention. Considering the convolutedfindings resulting from the various, frequently implausible witnessstatements about the modalities of the gassing opperations, a neutralapproach of research seems promising in order to come to safe conclusions:investigations of the murder weapon gas chamber by the exactsciences. Expressed in a simplified way, this is about the detection ofdurable compounds of hydrogen cyanide (cyanides), which are presentin sizeable concentrations in the walls of rooms whose interiors havefrequently been exposed to Zyklon B – which contains hydrogen cyanide– that is to say: to the agent designed to fight vermin which accordingto the prevailing view was used for homicide in the gas chambers.Inspired by F. Leuchter’s work, an American expert for executionchambers, the certified chemist Germar Rudolf has conducted such investigationsin the camp complex Auschwitz-Birkenau. From this it resultedthat the cyanide concentrations were minimal in the walls of aroom, which is in a sufficiently well preserved condition and which isconsidered to be the most frequently used gas chamber, whereas theconcentration values in former delousing rooms – in accordance withtheir exposure to Zyklon B – were three orders of magnitude higher. Asa result of this, if considering the scientific and factual aspects, the traditionalgas chamber thesis should have been seriously questioned andthe path should have been free for further research of that kind.But in the FRG Germar Rudolf was sentenced to 14 months imprisonmentin connection with an expert report based on his research,which had been made public against his wish as a pirate copy with irrelevantcomments.
