Institute <strong>of</strong> <strong>Education</strong> in Jordan, into attainable, suitable and applicable goals relevant totrainees‟ needs.Other positive aspects proved by the trainers include:• <strong>The</strong> programme was <strong>of</strong> sufficient duration• Varity <strong>of</strong> evaluation tools• Clarity and practicality <strong>of</strong> the assigned goals• Strong correlation between the programme goals ,content and trainingtechniques and training evaluation toolsSuch positive stance held by trainers can be attributed to trainers‟ efforts in modifying thetraining content and focusing on trainees needs, trainers are the planners and the designers <strong>of</strong>the whole programme starting with its goals, and thus it is no wonder that they are holdingsuch positive stance.5.5.2 Programme Major WeaknessesThroughout trainers‟ responses to the seven interview questions, the main programmeinsufficiencies spotted include:1. Training timing and ResourcesSimilar to trainees‟ responses, trainers also responded negatively to this domain. <strong>The</strong> eighttrainers reflected their dissatisfaction <strong>of</strong> the current available resources, they confirmed thatthere is no training centre with limited facilities “we don‟t have a training centre” “I amdreaming <strong>of</strong> a day we can find a training centre especial for UNRWA teachers …let'ssay…equipped with all facilities, refreshment .so...and so… we are suffering a lot regardingthis issue.”.. Furthermore, they emphasized the unsuitability and the inconvenience <strong>of</strong>training times for both trainers and trainees as they wished for duty <strong>of</strong>f training days, asexpressed by one <strong>of</strong> the trainers, “we dream <strong>of</strong> a day that we find a day fortraining….teachers are <strong>of</strong>f <strong>of</strong> their regular work and they come only for training …this will- 161 -
