Establishing a specialized training centre, this centre should have the followingfacilities:• Well-seated with enough space, proper lighting, heating and cooling trainingrooms• Well-equipped training labs with technological devices as video, audiorecordings, LCD, and internet connections along with technicians who will trainteachers on using these devices.• Well-equipped library with sufficient up-to-date references using e-resources• Sufficient refreshments including a cafeteria and a garden2. Establishing teachers centers at least one in each zone which works under thesupervision <strong>of</strong> the specialized training centre. <strong>The</strong>se centres aim mainly to providesystematic follow up and support for teachers in their schools. <strong>The</strong>ir main servicesshould include:• Starting a teacher journal to provide support to teachers right on the spot withopportunities to grow pr<strong>of</strong>essionally• Conducting annual competitions for teachers‟ best practices where teachers canpresent their experience, research papers, reflections, diaries, the best <strong>of</strong> theseparticipations can be rewarded and published under the supervision <strong>of</strong> EDC.- 178 -
