The firstcategory includes those novice teachers of 1-5 years, the second category includes trainees of5-10, and the third category involves experienced teachers of more than ten years. Table (3.2)above shows that trainees of 1-5 years of experience constitute the largest percentage 47.8%,followed by 5-10 years of experience 30.4% and the third is the least category. This can bejustified since the INSET programme targets newly appointed teachers, more qualifiedteachers are nominated through their supervisors if they were in need for improvement.- 85 -
