17.2 Checking the Optical Axis17 CHECK AND ADJUSTMENT17.2.1Checking the optical axis of EDM and theodoliteCheck each of the optical axis of EDM and theodolite about prism mode and non-prism mode in order.To check if the optical axis of EDM and theodolite are matched, follow the procedure below.It is especially important to check after adjustment of the eyepiece reticle is carried out.1) Position a prism about 30 to 50m apart from <strong>GPT</strong>-<strong>3000</strong> series .2) Turn the power ON while pressing the [F1] key.Adjustment mode menu 1/2 will appear.ADJUSTMENT MODE 1/2F1:V ANGLE 0 POINTF2:INST.
