The SFE’s Conceptual Framework,grounded in sound educational research, theory,and practice, is centered on five core beliefs.These core beliefs guide the SFE as it nurturesand supports the development of teachercandidates’ knowledge, skills, and dispositionsso they can be leaders and assume the roles ofeffective school professionals, reflective changeagents, and advocates for equity and excellence.To confirm that the SFE’s vision, mission,goals, and core beliefs are being met, the SFEengages an assessment system that continuallyassesses and evaluates teacher candidates asthey progress and transition through the SFE’sprograms.
