BITRE | Report 115There were 13 airlines (Table 4.3) in 2000 <strong>and</strong> 11 airlines (Table 4.4) in 2005 servingregional air routes within New South Wales. Between 2000 <strong>and</strong> 2005, there was a highturnover in airlines serving regional New South Wales. Nine out <strong>of</strong> 13 airlines servingregional air routes within New South Wales in 2000 ceased to provide services by2005. These airlines were Ansett Airlines, Country Connection Airlines, Flight WestAirlines, Hazelton Airlines, Impulse Airlines, Kendell Airlines, Singleton-Y<strong>and</strong>a Airlines<strong>and</strong> Sunstate Airlines. There were seven airlines which started to provide intrastateair services on regional routes in New South Wales after 2000.
