Growth RequestsInitiative: Exceptional Children (EC) parent contract transportation for PreK childrenCurrent Funding Formula:Projected student growth rate of 6.28 percent.Data for these children has not been tracked in prior fi scal years. Ongoingdata analysis will be done throughout fi scal year 2006-07 todetermine a more accurate funding formula and growth rate for this subpopulation of EC Children.The transport of Exceptional Children is regulated by various Stateand Federal regulations that the Wake County Public School System(WCPSS) is required to follow.
