This arrangementwas originally funded through a federal grant followed by anagreement to retain the positions for one year. The agreement toretain the positions involved WCPSS providing 25 percent of thefunding. In order to streamline resources and to cut overhead(invoicing, contracts, etc.) it is proposed that Wake County Boardof Commissioners continue to provide this funding; however, thefunding should be provided directly to the WCSO.Legal Implications (if any):None314
