There are over 150 transactions dailyinvolving parts being received into inventory and or be charged to workorders. This system would increase accountability within inventory andreduce time for inventory audits.Currently, an audit of the parts room requires at least 24 staff membersto be pulled from their regular duties to complete the physical countof inventory in two days. Savings would be realized in staff time, thusfreeing up staff members to continue with bus maintenance duties andmore up-to-date entry into Business System Information Portal (BSIP) ofinventory data.255 FY 2007-08 Plan for Student Success
