After constructing messages, sending message
module asks for the instructor’s approval (Fig.7).
After the instructor approves these messages, all
messages will be sent to learners’ e-mail addresses
automatically.
CASE STUDY 1
We have used our system in a regular course for master
students, results are shown in Table 1. Students
can register for the course as learners through our
LMS. However, they also need to formally register
for the course to get credits through administration
office within three weeks. Thus we compare the
results of learning activities only for students who
registered for the course formally. All learners
attained excellent learning status by utilizing our
mentoring system. However, it is not clear whether
the system has an influence on learner’s decision to
formally resister for the course. It is necessary to
study how to cope with this situation further.
