CHAPTER 18COMPLETION SCHEDULECompletion schedule for every scheme should be prepared and should be watched by theimplementing agency.Generally completion schedules are prepared without considering the odds that would be faced duringits implementation and hence most projects are delayed. Completion schedule should, therefore, beprepared on a realistic basis. It should be presented in the form of a PERT/CPM and gantt chart formonitoring purposes.Completion schedule should be accompanied by a quarterly physical and financial progress schedule.This should form the basis of monitoring of expenditure and obtaining grants from MoEF on a quarterlybasis. Upon completion of the project, a completion report is submitted in a standard format. Thisformat should be presented in the DPR and is given at Annexure - 8.Utilization certificates for the funds released by MoEF shall be submitted in the formats given atAnnexure 12.99
