No. 1 <strong>East</strong> <strong>African</strong> <strong>Community</strong> <strong>Customs</strong> <strong>Management</strong> 2005(d) fully and immediately answer all relevant questions put tohim or her by the proper officer;(e) produce all consignment notes or other relevant documentsdemanded of him or her by the proper officer;(f) save as otherwise provided in the <strong>Customs</strong> laws, make dueentry of the vehicle and of any such goods.(2) Vehicles or goods to which this section applies shall not beremoved from the <strong>Customs</strong> area until after due entry thereof has beenmade or until permission for removal has been granted by the properofficer.(3) A person who contravenes this section commits an offence andany goods in respect of which such offence has been committed shallbe liable to forfeiture.30.-(1) Upon arrival at any port of the Partner States of any traincarrying goods subject to customs control, the station master or otherperson in charge of the railway station at that port shall deliver to theproper officer copies of all invoices, way-bills, consignment notes orother documents received by him or her and relating to the goodssubject to customs control conveyed by that train and consigned to thatstation or required to be entered at that port.Trainsarriving(2) A station master or other person in charge of a railway station atany port shall not, without the written permission of a proper officer,permit goods subject to customs control required to be entered at thatport and conveyed to that station in any train to be removed from thetransit shed or customs area appointed for such station, or beforwarded to any other railway station, and it shall be an offence toremove any goods from such shed or area before delivery or removalhas been authorised by the proper officer.(3) A station master or other person in charge of a railway stationshall not, without the written permission of the proper officer, deliverto the consignee or any person at the station any goods which arerequired to be entered at any other station.35
