The products wereassayed for their in vitro biological assay like antibacterial activity towardsLooking to the interesting biological properties of Aminopyrimidine it isworthwhile to prepare Aminopyrimidine bearing different heterocyclic systems ofmedicinal value in order to achieve better therapeutic agents. SYNTHESIS AND THERAPEUTIC EVALUATION OF 4-(2-(4-CHLOROPHENYL)-8-METHYL-1H-IMIDAZO[1,2-a]PYRIDINE-3-YL)-6-ARYL PYRIMIDINE-2-AMINE.Looking to the interesting pharmacological and agriculture activity ofpyrimidine ring system, it was considered worthwhile to synthesise. Aminopyrimidine derivatives synthesized by condensation of (2z)-3-[2-(4-chlorophenyl)-8-methyl imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-3-yl]-1-aryl prop-2-en-1-one with guanidinehydrochloride in basic media and methanol as a solvent for study their biologicalactivities.CH 3NNClH 2 NNNRWhere,R = ArylThe constitution of the synthesized products have been characterized usingelemental analyses, Infrared and 1 H nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy andfurther supported by mass spectroscopy.The products have been screened for their in vitro biological assay likeantibacterial activity towards Gram positive and Gram negative bacterial strainsand antifungal activity towards A.
