Their whole character must be changed. Thoughtless mo<strong>the</strong>r, doyou know, as you teach your children, that <strong>the</strong>ir whole religious experience is affectedby <strong>the</strong>ir teaching when young? Subdue <strong>the</strong>m young; teach <strong>the</strong>m to submit to you,and <strong>the</strong> more readily will <strong>the</strong>y learn to yield obedience to <strong>the</strong> requirements of God.Encourage in <strong>the</strong>m a truthful, honest disposition. Let <strong>the</strong>m never have occasion todoubt your sincerity and exact truthfulness.I saw that <strong>the</strong> young profess, but do not enjoy, <strong>the</strong> saving power of God.
