correct. The leading physician <strong>the</strong>re would have his patients believe that his judgmentis perfect, even as <strong>the</strong> judgment of God. Yet he often fails. He exalts himself asGod and fails to exalt <strong>the</strong> Lord as <strong>the</strong> only dependence. Those who have no trust orconfidence in God, and who can see no beauty in holiness or in <strong>the</strong> cross-bearing lifeof <strong>the</strong> Christian, can receive more benefit at—–than at any o<strong>the</strong>r health institution in<strong>the</strong> United States. The great secret of <strong>the</strong> success at this place is in <strong>the</strong> control which<strong>the</strong> managers have over <strong>the</strong> minds of <strong>the</strong>ir patients.I saw that my husband and myself could not receive as much benefit <strong>the</strong>re as couldthose of different experience and faith. God gave us a place in <strong>the</strong> hearts of allof influence at—–, and in <strong>the</strong> future as <strong>the</strong> patients now <strong>the</strong>re shall be scattered to<strong>the</strong>ir different homes, our labors will bring us again to <strong>the</strong>ir notice, and when we areassailed, some at least will be our defenders.
