Itinvolves a disguise. What is a disguise?(A disguise is something that changes the way you look.)As you read the next pages, try to answer these questions:• What disguise did Stanley want to wear?• What disguise did Mr. Dart have for Stanley?• Why did Mr. Dart pick that disguise for Stanley?• Where did Stanley hide?3. Reading on Your Own: Partner or Whisper Reading• Have students take turns reading every other page with apartner or have students whisper read pages 39–45 on their own.Say something like:Everyone, put your finger on the last paragraph on page 39. It starts, “Thatevening . . . ”This is where you’re going to start reading on your own—without me.Now turn to page 44.
