anatolia’s International Baccalaureate (“IB”) diploma program follows the
english language curriculum of the IB organization in Geneva, switzerland
and enjoys that accreditation. 56
at the college level, act was the first and is presently one of two “post
- secondary colleges” in Greece that hold both us accreditation and uK
validation.
In the us, act holds institutional accreditation by the commission on
Institutions of higher education of the new england association of
schools and colleges (“neasc”) www.neasc.org 57 and the trustees may
award tertiary education degrees as provided by anatolia’s charter.
In addition, act’s undergraduate programs are validated by the university
of Wales www.wales.ac.uk, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/universityofWales.
this validation was replaced in late 2012 with that of the open university
(u.K.). In Greece, act is licensed as a “Post-Secondary Educational Institution-KEME,”
58 and is not considered or can call itself a university. act
degrees do not enjoy academic recognition by the Greek state and they are
not equivalent to state university degrees given the legal restrictions at the
present.
