KLIA & klia2 Celebrate
CNY with Passengers!
Traditionally, Chinese New Year
(CNY) is celebrated for nearly 15
days. The festive season is marked
by numerous family gatherings,
good foods and red packet
giveaways. As lively as it already is,
CNY is often spiced up with wonderful
displays of fireworks and firecrackers. But
for those who are flying or happen to be
working, they may not be able to join in the fun.
In light of this, Malaysia Airports celebrated CNY with
passengers at KLIA and klia2.
No stranger to creating joyful experiences, Malaysia Airports
distributed around 5,000 mandarin oranges to passengers
at KLIA and klia2 on 8 February 2016. What’s joy after all if
not shared?
Passengers were also treated to a chance to meet the God
of Prosperity himself as he did his rounds around the airport
terminal. Since a CNY celebration is not complete without
a little music to heighten the mood, Malaysia Airports’
employees took the opportunity to show off their talents by
serenading a special acoustic performance to the passengers.
All in all, this year's CNY celebrations was a memorable affair
for all at KLIA and klia2.
