Given the variety of outlets available in Malaysia Airports, it is no wonder that passengers are
finding it difficult to make up their minds on which restaurant to dine at. Surely, a few good
recommendations to kick-start your food adventure at Malaysia Airports would help you to decide.
Whether you are in for a local treat, the milder western fares or a fusion of local and international
dishes, there’s always something satisfying for everyone.
Fukuya
• Level 2, South Zone, Satellite Building, KLIA
Fantastic as always, Fukuya is cooking up sensational Japanese delicacies for all travellers for the
month of March and April.
Experience the taste of changing seasons with Fukuya’s ‘Four Seasons Roll’. Only available in
March, ‘Four Seasons Roll’ consists of raw tuna, salmon, avocado and rice all rolled up. Taste
wise? Heavenly! Also featured in March is the Gindara Angkake Set. The set meals’ main dish
is the steamed cod fish in shoyu soup and vegetables accompanied by miso soup and fruits on
the side.
The month of April will see Fukuya featuring two dishes. The ‘Tuna Avocado Tartar’ is presented
in such a unique way where its ingredients - tuna, avocado, spring onion and sesame-seeds - are
moulded into a dome shape with raw quail eggs to top it off. How to eat it is up to one’s
interpretation, but it is recommended to break the quail eggs first before consumption. Besides
that, the Gyu Katsu Set is on the menu for April. Savour the crispiness of the deep-fried sirloin beef
as you dip it with Tongkatsu sauce. The set meal also comes with miso soup and fruits.
