Indulge & Explore
7 December 2015 – 6 March 2016
It was a day filled with lots of fun, games and laughter. Malaysia Airports’ Indulge & Explore Campaign was met with great
success with over 40,000 travellers participating in its weekly contests and kinetic augmented reality games to win instant prizes
from participating retailers at the airports.
With an aim that focuses on conservation and personal wellness, the campaign drew enthusiastic response from thousands
of travellers passing through KLIA and klia2 since its launch on 7 December 2015. The only rule of the game was travellers
had to first spend a minimum of RM200 at any F&B or retail outlets at KLIA and/or klia2 terminals. They then have to scan the
receipts of their purchases at one of the 14 automated e-kiosks located throughout the terminals to make their entries count.
the Grand Prize awaits! You can Become a Panda Volunteer!
As the campaign came to an end on 6 March 2016, the weekly prizes comprising seven 3-day Lovina Dolphin Experience trip
for two to Lovina, Bali; and six 3-day New Leaf Detox Programme for two at Koh Samui, Thailand were all given away. The
winner of the Grand Prize – a 6-Day Panda Experience Programme where the winner will savour the opportunity of a lifetime
as a ‘panda volunteer’ – is yet to be announced. So if you happen to be in the running, don’t give up hope yet. Keep a close
eye on our announcements from the Indulge & Explore social media platforms – Indulge at Malaysia Airports Facebook page
and Indulgemyairports on Instagram.
Airport Jungle Book Experience
As part of its campaign to support the
environment, Malaysia Airports took the
opportunity to run conservation awareness
activities by first organising a quick course
in nature and conservation for students.
Through a guided walk, 14 children
from Baitul Barakah Wal-Mahabbah
Orphanage explored the jungle walk
complete with a waterfall located within
KLIA. They were mesmerised by the 5,000
trees encompassing more than 30 species
planted at the international hub.
Relieving Stress Through
Yoga At klia2
Malaysia Airports understands the kind
of stress both travellers and airport staff
face every day, which is why a Yoga and
Stress Management talk was organised
at klia2 to help travellers and airport staff
cope with the rigours of travel and work
stress. Conducted by Dr. Dhilip Kumar,
the talk focused on breathing techniques
and basic yoga movements as ways to
manage everyday stress.
Zoo Negara Reaches Out
At klia2
Rounding up the efforts in raising
conservation awareness was a two-day
activity which involved face-painting
sessions, interactive talks on endangered
animals, chicken dance routines and
animal adoption drive. This was held in
collaboration with Zoo Negara where the
national zoo held a two-day outreach
programme at klia2 to educate Malaysians
and foreigners on the role played by the
zoo in wildlife conservation. As it is both
an interactive and participative session,
travellers had a whale of a time trying out
the different activities.
