Atkinson) starts to sing it in the film The Lion King (1994), the evil lion Scar
(Jeremy Irons) goes into a rage. Recent recordings include those by Baha
Men in 2004, a rap version by Fan 3 in 2005, and a unique rendition by
“It’s Not Easy” is the affecting character duet written by Joel Hirschhorn
and Al Kasha for the part-live-action, part-animated movie Pete’s Dragon
(1977). The young orphan Pete (Sean Marshall) and the lighthouse keeper’s
“It’s Over” is the pop farewell ballad written by David Lawrence and
Faye Greenberg for the television sequel The Cheetah Girls 2 (2006). The
American singing group, consisting of Galleria (Raven-Symoné), Chanel
(Adrienne Bailon), Aqua (Kiely Williams), and Dorinda (Sabrina Bryan),
have a falling out while they are in Barcelona, and it looks like the foursome
is breaking up. While each of the girls is seen separately, they take turns
singing this song of regret.
“It’s Tough to Be a Bird” is the wry title song by Mel Leven for the 1969
tongue-in-cheek animated documentary short that looks at the history of
man’s feathered friends over the ages. The big-beaked M. C. Bird (voice of
Richard Bakalyan) introduces the “mockumentary” with this jazzy song that
