(music and lyric) and Sting (lyric) wrote the pulsating song about the pampered
life that Emperor Kuzco (David Spade) leads, and the number turns
into a floor show in which the Emperor joins in the singing and dancing.
animated film short based on the tale of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.
Leigh Harline wrote the flowing theme song, sung by a chorus on the
soundtrack, which relates how the Pied Piper rids the townspeople of rats.
When the mayor refuses to pay, the piper uses the same magic to enchant
all the children and lead them away as well. All the characters in the film
sing their lines in operatic style; the music is a variation of the theme song
and the lyrics a paraphrase of the famous Robert Browning poem.
“Pink Elephants on Parade” is the very unusual march song by Oliver
Wallace, Ned Washington, and Frank Churchill that is used in a famous
dream sequence in the animated movie Dumbo (1941). When some alco-
