What happens here?<br />
The <strong>in</strong>dustrial web of <strong>the</strong> Se<strong>in</strong>e estuary offers a territorial<br />
and schematic vision of <strong>the</strong> relations between<br />
<strong>the</strong> companies of <strong>the</strong> territory and with <strong>the</strong> national<br />
and <strong>in</strong>ternational markets to which <strong>the</strong>y are connected.<br />
The relationships highlighted are <strong>the</strong> “material”<br />
l<strong>in</strong>ks, <strong>the</strong> “logistical” l<strong>in</strong>ks and <strong>the</strong> “contractual”<br />
l<strong>in</strong>ks creat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> necessary ground for <strong>the</strong> development<br />
of a circular economy on a territorial scale.<br />

In 2016, AURH proposed a web portal giv<strong>in</strong>g its partners<br />
access to a dynamic tool for consult<strong>in</strong>g and enrich<strong>in</strong>g<br />
<strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>dustrial web. The portal makes it possible<br />
to understand <strong>the</strong> economic organization of<br />
<strong>the</strong> territory (through <strong>the</strong> location of companies<br />
and exist<strong>in</strong>g or planned relationships between <strong>the</strong><br />
Estuary’s <strong>in</strong>dustries as well as with external markets),<br />
design a foresight tool (to understand <strong>in</strong>dustrial<br />
change and simulate possible developments<br />
for <strong>the</strong> territory) and share a common culture (of <strong>the</strong><br />
territory’s <strong>in</strong>dustrial ecosystem through a detailed<br />
knowledge of <strong>the</strong> Estuary’s <strong>in</strong>dustrial fabric). The<br />

Who is beh<strong>in</strong>d it?<br />
The Urban Plann<strong>in</strong>g Agency of <strong>the</strong> Le Havre and<br />
Se<strong>in</strong>e Estuary Region (AURH) is <strong>the</strong> prime contractor<br />
for <strong>the</strong> project. Its partners are <strong>the</strong> major seaports<br />
of Le Havre and Rouen, <strong>the</strong> Se<strong>in</strong>e Estuaire Chamber<br />
of Commerce and Industry, economic development<br />
agencies, <strong>the</strong> association for <strong>the</strong> creation of a metropolitan<br />
centre <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Se<strong>in</strong>e estuary and HAROPA.<br />
