Stora Enso Langerbrugge is a company which produces<br />
newspr<strong>in</strong>t and magaz<strong>in</strong>e paper made from<br />
100% recycled paper. They focus on recycl<strong>in</strong>g of<br />
waste paper and <strong>the</strong> development of renewable<br />
enegy.<br />
Stora Enso Langerbrugge operates two high quality<br />
bio-cogeneration power plants which proves all <strong>the</strong><br />
necessary process steam and more than 70% of <strong>the</strong><br />
electricity needs.<br />
The Stora Enso Group is active <strong>in</strong> more than 35<br />
countries and specializes <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> production of paper,<br />
packag<strong>in</strong>g materials and wood products. They focus<br />
on solutions based on renewable raw materials.<br />
What is <strong>the</strong> relation with <strong>the</strong> port?<br />
Stora Enso Langerbrugge and Volvo Cars Ghent,<br />
also positiond <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> port, have made a deal to make<br />
a heat network. Volvo will reuse <strong>the</strong> heat from <strong>the</strong> paper<br />
production process <strong>in</strong> Stora Enso to use <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
production process (CO2 dim<strong>in</strong>ishes with 40%!)<br />

Stora Enso group <strong>in</strong> general is always <strong>in</strong> search for<br />
new <strong>in</strong>novative solutions <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir work<strong>in</strong>g field. The<br />
