The <strong>in</strong>terviews were used as an enrich<strong>in</strong>g tool <strong>in</strong> order<br />
to ga<strong>the</strong>r deeper <strong>in</strong>formation and knowledge<br />
regard<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> practices analyzed and <strong>the</strong> dynamics<br />
tak<strong>in</strong>g place <strong>in</strong>side <strong>the</strong> <strong>Ports</strong>. The aim was to<br />
develop a series of talks with different figures tak<strong>in</strong>g<br />
actions already toward more circular dynamics,<br />
cover<strong>in</strong>g different roles <strong>in</strong> this transition. Therefore,<br />
<strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>terviews have been done start<strong>in</strong>g with <strong>the</strong> local<br />
economical actors already strategiz<strong>in</strong>g toward<br />
circularity, understand<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> port authority po<strong>in</strong>t<br />
of view regard<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> future steps to be undertaken,<br />
enrich<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> content exchang<strong>in</strong>g with figures<br />
work<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>novation and research field. In this<br />
sense, it was possible to have a more comprehensive<br />
view from political and decision-mak<strong>in</strong>g realm<br />
<strong>in</strong> relation with a more technical and specialized on<br />
site knowledge, <strong>in</strong>terrelated with <strong>the</strong> <strong>in</strong>novation and<br />
research <strong>in</strong> development processes.
