The North Carolina Legislative Tuition Grant
(NCLTG) is provided by the North Carolina
General Assembly for students who have been
legal residents of North Carolina for at least
twelve months prior to enrollment at Wake
Forest. Residency determinations are made
by the financial aid office. Each year’s grant
amount is subject to an annual appropriation.
Grants are reduced by twenty-five percent for
those students having already completed 157.5
credits or 140 hours. Amounts listed on award
letters are estimates only, and are subject to
adjustment when the actual authorized grant
any difference between the estimated and
actual amounts.
To be eligible each semester, a student must
NCLTG application to the financial aid office
first semester of each academic year.
An NCLTG application (contained in the
to each first-year student, and to continuing
students with permanent North Carolina addresses.
Students who believe they are eligible
for the grant but do not receive an application
may obtain one in the financial aid office; such
