§48.6078. Billable Units.
The following activities may be billed as Community Based Alternatives (CBA) services by a

agency [end deletion]:
(1) Nursing services:
(A) direct [begin deletion] participant [end deletion] contact [begin addition] with an
individual [end addition];
(B) participation on the interdisciplinary team (IDT);
(C) time spent in delegating, training, and supervising a personal [begin addition]
assistance services attendant, [end addition] care attendants, [begin addition] an adult foster care
provider, [end addition] [begin deletion] Adult Foster Care providers, [end deletion] and [begin
addition] an adult foster care provider [begin addition] substitute [end addition] [begin deletion]
substitutes [end deletion] in the delivery of [begin addition] delegated [end addition] [begin
deletion] nursing] tasks [begin deletion] that have been delegated [end deletion];
(D) [begin addition] to prevent a service break [end addition], time spent in providing
nursing tasks that had been delegated to an attendant [begin addition] who is not available [end
addition] in order to prevent a service break[begin deletion], if no attendant can be found [end
deletion];
(E) time spent in training family members, neighbors, and other informal support providers
to provide needed nursing or personal [begin addition] assistance services [end addition] [begin
deletion] care [end deletion] tasks;
(F) time spent performing [begin addition] an [end addition] [begin deletion] the [end
deletion] annual reassessment or level of care [begin addition] reassessment that includes direct
[end addition] [begin deletion] resets which include actual participant [end deletion] contact [begin
addition] with an individual [end addition] and documentation of assessment forms and [begin
addition] ISP [end addition] [begin deletion] care plan [end deletion];
(G) time spent performing assessments and developing written specifications for adaptive
aids; and
(H) a follow-up orientation [begin addition] or training [end addition] visit following
delivery of adaptive aids.
