Aldermen Kingston, Moynihan, Moran, Hall, Murray, Faulkner,<br />

StacKpole, ^McEvoy, Plckett and Vice-president Melley present.<br />

Reading <strong>of</strong> records commenced; further reading dispensed with<br />

under a suspension <strong>of</strong> the rules and records approved by yea and nay vote, Al-<br />

dermen Kingston, Moynihan, Moran, Hall, Murray, Faulkner, Stackpole, McEvoy,<br />

Pickett, Vice-president Melley and the President, 11, voting in the affirma-<br />

tive*<br />

JURORS<br />

A venire being received for the drawing <strong>of</strong> Jurors, in the ab-<br />

sence <strong>of</strong> his honor the Mayor, President Palmer met with the Board for the pur-<br />

pose <strong>of</strong> drawing jurors.<br />

Received a venire for the drawing <strong>of</strong> five men to serve as<br />

traverse Jurors at the Superior Court to be holden at Cambridge, the persons<br />

so drawn to appear and attend the first session <strong>of</strong> said court on Monday, the<br />

first day <strong>of</strong> June 19^2, at 10 a.m. (Criminal business)<br />

The box containing the names being shaken and the slips or<br />

ballots bearing the names being mixed, Aldermen Hall and Murray being desig-<br />

nated for that purpose, drew from the box and read aloud names as follows:<br />

The slips or ballots bearing the names were passed by the Al-<br />

dermen to the President, who verified the names and passed them to the <strong>City</strong><br />

Clerk who also verified the names by reading them aloud from said slips or<br />

ballots which were then duly endorsed and returned to the Jury box.<br />
