Regular meeting of the Board of Alder-
men, City Hall, Somerville, Tuesday,
December 22, 19^2, S p.m., rules being
suspended by order to change meeting
night,
The President, Alderman Palmer, presiding.
Aldermen Kingston, Moynlhan, Moran, Hall, Murray, Stackpole,
Reading of records commenced; further reading dispensed with
under a suspension of the rules and records approved by yea and nay vote, Al-
dermen Kingston, Moran, Stackpole, McEvoy, Pickett and the President, 6, vot-
ing in the affirmative; Aldermen Moynlhan, Hall, Murray, Faulkner, and Vice-
president Melley, 5, being absent at this stage of the meeting.
JURORS
Received a venire for the drawing of four men to serve as
Traverse Jurors at our Superior Court, to be holden at Cambridge, the persons
so drawn to appear and attend at the first ses.aion of said court, on Monday,
the first day of February, 19^3, at 10 a.m.
The box containing the names being shaken and the slips or bal-
lots bearing the -names being mixed, Aldermen Stackpole and Pickett, being
designated for that purpose, drew from the box and read aloud names as follows
1. Warren L- Herman 10*3 Gov. Winthrop Rd. Mover
2« Byron C. Johnson 65 Hall Ave. Salesman
3. George H. Melville 3^ Dickinson St. Salesman
5. Charles Lamey 31 Rossmore St. Shoeworker
The slips or ballots bearing the names were passed by the Al-
dermen to the President, who verified the names and passed them to the City
Clerk, who also verified the names by reading them aloud from said slips or
ballots, which were then duly endorsed and returned to the Jury box.
