• I-respectfully request your Honorable Board to authorize the <strong>City</strong> •<br />

Treasurer to borrow the sum <strong>of</strong> two hundred thousand dollarsCi?20Q,000.00)in accordance<br />

with the provisions <strong>of</strong> Chapter 92,<strong>of</strong> the Acts <strong>of</strong> 19*11, the Relief ActJ<br />

Proceeds <strong>of</strong> this loan are to be used to pay the <strong>City</strong>'s share <strong>of</strong> all<br />

W.P.A. projects with the exception <strong>of</strong> water projects from January 1st to June<br />

30,19^2.<br />

MOTIONS, ORDERS AND RESOLUTIONS<br />

President Palmer <strong>of</strong>fered the following order,<br />

Ordered:<br />

It is hereby ordered that the <strong>City</strong> Treasurer,<br />

with the approval <strong>of</strong> the Mayor, be and hereby is authorized to borrow the sum<br />

<strong>of</strong> two hundred thousand dollars ('^200,000*00) under the provisions <strong>of</strong> Chapter<br />

92, Acts <strong>of</strong><br />

The proceeds <strong>of</strong> this loan are to be used to carry on the <strong>City</strong>'s share<br />

<strong>of</strong> W.P.A. projects for supervision, materials, administration costs, personal<br />

services <strong>of</strong> engineering parties, watchmen, draftsmen, custodians, carfares for<br />

various supervisors and nurses, all rental for halls, <strong>of</strong>fice quarters, repairs<br />

on equipment, messengers 1 carfares and all other W.P.A. activities and local<br />

telephone calls.<br />

Mayor's communication having been considered in committee, this<br />

order read once and passed to second reading by unanimous voice vote. Roll<br />

call vote (10 yes, 0 no, 1 absent) taken on allowing second reading. Order<br />

read twice. Roll call vote taken on final adoption. 10 yes, 0 no, 1 absent.<br />

Order was read twice and adopted. A motion to'reconsider failed.<br />
