President Palmer offered the following order,
Ordered:
That the vacant house now condemned on Mortimer
place be torn down immediately and if it is Impossible for the Commissioner
of Public Buildings to arrange to do this, he is further directed to report
his reasons to this Board of Aldermen at its next regular meeting on February
26th- His honor the Mayor is requested to arrange for a supplementary budget,
of $2500. for a demolition expense account.

Alderman McEvoy offered the following orders,

That the Trustees of the Boston Elevated Railway
system be and are hereby requested to arrange for additional passenger service
on all Clarendon Hill lines in order to provide adequate service for the in-
creasing patronage within our City, and also for the anticipated additional
increase.
