Ilty of Somerville to convey title to same to War Materials, Inc. Agent for
Petals Reserve Company, for a nominal consideration, by Bill of Sale, the
form of which 8hn.ll be approved by the City Solicitor-
2. WAR MATERIALS, INC. Ag-ent for Metals Reserve Company, be and it
aereby is given permission, itself or through others, to remove said rails,
track fastenings, end other metallic track material located in the streets
of the City of Somerville, the location of which is shown on Exhibit A at-
tached hereto, and for that purpose disturb the pavement in the streets where
said rai'ls are located, provided that the slots from which the rail is re-
moved are refilled with a suitable available paving material. This work shall
be carried out in accordance with specifications approved by WAR MATERIALS,
INC. Agent, as aforesaid, and approved by the City Engineer who shall assure
himself that the work is to be done with minimum interference with the move-
ment of traffic.
3- That no damage to the streets will be claimed by the City of
Somerville, providing WAR MATERIALS, INC'. Agent, as aforesaid, performs the work
in accordance with the terms and conditions of the specifications approved by
it and by the City Engineer, as aforesaid.

Alderman McEvoy offered the following ordersand resolution,
Ordered:
That the Rationing Board of this City be re-
quested to arrange for the opening of another School, in addition to the
Western Junior High School on future registrations conducted by the Board, to
provide for the needs of residents of West Somerville,and at least two schools
In each vard.

Amended to read "at least two schools in each ward" Adopted as
Ordered:
The Chief of Police is hereby requested to ar-
range that all cruising Police cars passing the Western Junior High School
after 2 o'clock in the afternoon until late that, night be directed to enter
and ride through the grounds to aid in the stopping of breaking of school win-
dows and other acts of vandalism on the property
