Placed in hands of City Clerk to be printed with the Annual
Forwarding application for certificate of Incorporation from,
Edward T. Brady of Somerville and seven other persons not residents of Somer-
ville, under the name of The William F. Clapp Laboratories for Scientific
Re_s_ear.ch,_Inc,- for the purpose of the following: To conduct research with re-
spect to, and study of, the causes, Including without limitation biological
factors, of the deterioration and impairment of usefulness of structural and
other materials, and the development of means and methods for the control of
such deterioration and impairment. In futherance and no.t In limitation of
these purposes the corporation shall have the power to purchase or otherwise
acquire, to hold, manage, occupy, use and develop and to sell, lease, mortgage
or otherwise dispose of any real or personal property whenever it may be nec-
essary or incidental to the conduct of such research and study, and shall
have all the powers conferred by the laws of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts
upon corporations incorporated under chapter ISO of the General Laws. The
corporation is not organized for profit and no dividends or other distribu-
tions of Income or profits shall be paid to members, to be located In the
town of Duxbury, Mass, said application being accompanied by a report from the
Chief of Police stating that upon investigation he falls to find any record
