Alderman McEvoy offered the following orders,
Ordered:
That the Maryland Casualty Company the surety
on reflectors permit bond (#62"31S) said bond being given to secure the City
of Somervllle on account of a license issued on order of Board of Aldermen -to
Melville Shoe Corp. for reflectors over the sidewalk at 50 Union Square, on
August 22, 1933, be and it hereby is released from further liability as surety
on said bond, provided, however, that this release shall not affect or release
the liability of the said surety on account of any obligation arising
in connection with said bond prior to the date of the approval of this order
by the Mayor.
The said reflectors having been taken down, the license granted to
Melville Shoe Corp. for reflectors over the sidewalk at 50 Union Square is
nereby revoked.
Upon the approval of '-this order by the Mayor, the City Clerk is
lereby directed to forward a copy of this order to the surety company above
mentioned.

That all unfinished business of the Board of
Aldermen on January *J-, 19^3* be referred to the Board of Aldermen for the
year 19^3*

That the American Surety Company of New York.
the surety on sign permit bond (5&192&-B) said bond being given to secure the
City of Soraerville on account of a license issued on order of Board of Aldermen
to the House of Liederraan Inc. by M. Golomb, Pres . for a sign over the
sidewalk at 27*$a Broadway, on Nov. 11, 1926, be and it hereby is released from
further liability as surety on said bond, provided, .however, that this release
shall not affect or release the liability of the said surety, on account
of any obligation arising in connection with said bond prior to the date of
the approval of this order by the Mayor. '
The said sign having been taken down, the license granted to The
House of Llderman Inc. by M'. Golomb, Pres. for a sign -over the sidewalk at
27&a Broadway is hereby revoked.
Upon the approval of this order by the Mayor, the City Clerk is
lereby directed to forward a copy of this order to the surety company above
mentioned. _ .

requested to arrange for the Immediate repair of the fir_e alarm signal bell
on the third floor of the Cutler School as previously solicited by this Board
