Alderman McEvoy <strong>of</strong>fered the following orders,<br />

Ordered:<br />

That the Maryland Casualty Company the surety<br />

on reflectors permit bond (#62"31S) said bond being given to secure the <strong>City</strong><br />

<strong>of</strong> Somervllle on account <strong>of</strong> a license issued on order <strong>of</strong> Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen -to<br />

Melville Shoe Corp. for reflectors over the sidewalk at 50 Union Square, on<br />

August 22, 1933, be and it hereby is released from further liability as surety<br />

on said bond, provided, however, that this release shall not affect or release<br />

the liability <strong>of</strong> the said surety on account <strong>of</strong> any obligation arising<br />

in connection with said bond prior to the date <strong>of</strong> the approval <strong>of</strong> this order<br />

by the Mayor.<br />

The said reflectors having been taken down, the license granted to<br />

Melville Shoe Corp. for reflectors over the sidewalk at 50 Union Square is<br />

nereby revoked.<br />

Upon the approval <strong>of</strong> '-this order by the Mayor, the <strong>City</strong> Clerk is<br />

lereby directed to forward a copy <strong>of</strong> this order to the surety company above<br />

mentioned.<br />

Ordered:<br />

That all unfinished business <strong>of</strong> the Board <strong>of</strong><br />

Aldermen on January *J-, 19^3* be referred to the Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen for the<br />

year 19^3*<br />

That the American Surety Company <strong>of</strong> New York.<br />

the surety on sign permit bond (5&192&-B) said bond being given to secure the<br />

<strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> Soraerville on account <strong>of</strong> a license issued on order <strong>of</strong> Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen<br />

to the House <strong>of</strong> Liederraan Inc. by M. Golomb, Pres . for a sign over the<br />

sidewalk at 27*$a Broadway, on Nov. 11, 1926, be and it hereby is released from<br />

further liability as surety on said bond, provided, .however, that this release<br />

shall not affect or release the liability <strong>of</strong> the said surety, on account<br />

<strong>of</strong> any obligation arising in connection with said bond prior to the date <strong>of</strong><br />

the approval <strong>of</strong> this order by the Mayor. '<br />

The said sign having been taken down, the license granted to The<br />

House <strong>of</strong> Llderman Inc. by M'. Golomb, Pres. for a sign -over the sidewalk at<br />

27&a Broadway is hereby revoked.<br />

Upon the approval <strong>of</strong> this order by the Mayor, the <strong>City</strong> Clerk is<br />

lereby directed to forward a copy <strong>of</strong> this order to the surety company above<br />

mentioned. _ .<br />

The Commissioner <strong>of</strong> Public Buildings is hereby<br />

requested to arrange for the Immediate repair <strong>of</strong> the fir_e alarm signal bell<br />

on the third floor <strong>of</strong> the Cutler School as previously solicited by this Board<br />
